Halloween 2008

We decided to spend this Halloween with family. My Aunt has a tradition (starting with her mother) to make homemade donuts and rootbeer for the Halloween trick-or-treaters. We made everything outside, so that everyone could see they weren't poisened or anything. She lives in a very nice neighborhood that goes all out on decorations for the holidays and many people come from other neighborhoods simply to come to "the donut house." When the nieces & nephews were ready to go out, their mom and I took the kids out trick-or-tricking.

This is the assembly line of cutting the donuts, frying the donuts, and glazing the donuts with chocolate or regular glaze.

This is my cousin, Logan. He reports for his Dallas, Texas mission this coming Wednesday. We're happy/sad to see him go; Bryson loves hanging out with all the Tanner boys. This is the trash run around the neighborhood for when people drop their cups from the root beer and napkins from the donuts. Bryson and Logan did it on skooters and made it a little competition.
