We felt very loved starting this holiday season because we were invited to multiple parties! The first one was on Friday night; the Teague's (who just moved out of our ward into a house) had a great party. It was like a little reunion to see all the people who had moved in and out. The night included bobbing for apples and karaoke.
Bryson won the timed apple bobbing contest - 2.3 seconds.
Bryson and Mike - back up dancers for karaoke. The Zurn's are moving and we are truely going to miss them. Janae has been such a positive influence during my hard times recently and Mike brings out a personality in Bryson that usually stays hybernated; we were/ are truely blessed to have them as home teachers to bless our home and have as our friends.
They were REALLY getting into the mood of the song: "Lean on Me." Yes, their eyes are closed... lol.
The hosts + baby girl Teague! Thanks Seth and Cindy - we always have a blast when we get together with you guys!
On Saturday, we went to Kate and Nate's party. They really got decked out for their decorations and food! The Kitty-Litter Cake... enough said...
Chocolate covered worms, crickets, and ants. Bryson and I tried the worms. Not bad, but once the chocolate melted, it left an interesting after taste.
Bryson trying the worm... lol.
This is Kate's dog, Nordy - He was loving chewing on that witch's crow.
Nordy is usually ALL OVER THE PLACE - I was so excited when I got this picture of him sitting- his pictures usually come out blurry because he's moving so fast.
Thanks guys! EVERYTHING was scrumptious!!!
The last place we went to was a game night with some of Bryson's siblings. We played lots of games, but here we are playing Taboo. It was fun ending everything with a relaxing night full of laughs and family games.
We really weren't in a mood to dress up this year, but since Bryson finished his pilot's license, we were going to go as a pilot and stewardist. But when Bryson went to order his flight suit, he found out they only make them for men up to 6'1," so we need to go to the factory in San Diego to get measured and order a custom suit. That's right!
I have a one-of-a-kind man - he has to order custom of EVERYTHING! So, he went as a USC cheerleader.
