August was very rainy, very cloudy, very gloomy... Sorry, kind of depressing sounding. It's predicted to be a very cold winter. Last winter, they had only 2 snow storms. One where they actually woke up to a blanket of snow and the other was just flakes that melted instantly- we witnessed that one, we were in the hotel. I'm happy to live in snow for awhile and a bit terrified of the unknown also.
We had some fun with play dough.
The girls play with the neighbor's nearly every day. The girl in the middle, next to Cora, is in her German Kindergarten class.
Brandy, the girls and I took a train ride to Nurnberg to go to the Tier Garten (zoo = animal garden).
Madelyn figured out that if she fed the dog her cheerios, he wouldn't run away from her. Another neighbor, Felix, he's in Madelyn's German Kindergarten class. His mother is German and father is an American and speaks both languages.
